AnitaMo ~ A namesake for my grandmothers.

AnitaMo was born from creator Siân Feeney’s fascination with three main ideas:

  • Manipulation of materials and tactile creations.

  • Intricate details found in natural formations.

  • Encapsulating stories and memories within small tokens.

After completing her Honours in Textile Design at Massey University in 2020, Siân transitioned from fabric to precious metals. Mostly self-taught in silversmithing, she focuses on contrasting delicate and rugged forms found in nature, using lost wax casting to create organic, refined sterling silver jewellery for everyday wear.

AnitaMo follows the principles of slow design, emphasizing precision, individuality, and sustainability. Pieces are mainly made-to-order, with small batches of ready-to-ship items available. Each piece is unique, ensuring deeper meaning for the wearer.

Our story

The Name

Anita - Grandmother on Mum’s side. A waste-conscious woman with an admirable ability to reuse. She has a knack for breathing new life into lacklustre materials, a practice lost in our throw-away culture. Inheriting her crafting skills, I have always had a fondness for creating with my hands, which now translates as silver jewels.

Mo - Short for Maureen, my Nona on my dad's side. She’s a strong-willed tough-love type of woman. She taught me to be cheeky, dance on tables, and laugh at myself. She is a brilliant, slightly whacky woman who fills everyone with joy.
